Max Borrowman, The Fairmont Vancouver, "Pacific Rim" Lobby Lounge
Bio:
Max started bartending at Earls in Kelowna where he learned speed and service standards quickly. He moved to Victoria and eventually became the head barman at Oak Bay Marina Restaurant. It was here that Max created his own cocktail list, learned about wine, fine dining, and sushi. After traveling for a year, Max moved to Vancouver to continue learning about the "art of cocktailing" at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in the Lobby Lounge. Max still works there today. It's at the Fairmont where Max discovered his love for bitters, house made syrups, and elegant, fresh ingredients.
