About Magen:
Magen has been in the industry for a mere 7 years. Hailing from Nova Scotia,
she brings some East Coast modesty to the craft. Quickly finding home behind the wood, she started out perfecting martinis
and muddling up a storm. Under the direction of Steve Da Cruz at The Corner Suite Bistro De Luxe,
Magen dove head first into the pre-prohibition era classic cocktail styles,
finding a passion for the quest of balance. While further perfecting execution, experimenting and practicing methods with Rob Scope
at Refuel, she has had many the opportunity to actively participate in Vancouver's stimulating cocktail movement. Her favorites are classics with a local twist, be it herbal infusions or BC's finest produce.
Currently, Magen is tending bar at Nicli Antica Pizzeria in the cocktail haven of Gastown.
